Over two years ago, SuperYacht Times bought HuntingEye and today we are very excited to announce the launch of the all new YachtEye AI. Driven by the EsSense AI system we bought last year, the new YachtEye AI will be available for demonstrations on the HuntingEye | Stand SuperYacht Times (DS96) at the Monaco yacht show.Photo: YachtEyeOne of the big changes is that, thanks to the smart use of the AI system, YachtEye AI is self-sufficient. In previous versions of YachtEye, the user had to enter data into the system, which the system then made visually available. The new YachtEye Ai aims to continuously entertain guests with relevant information about the yacht, the journey and what is happening around the yacht.
Let’s see from a yacht owner’s perspective how the new YachtEye will improve their guest experience:
You sit on the bar on the sundeck of your yacht and the YachtEye AI Dashboard can be seen on the large TV. The system will automatically notify you of everything that is happening around you. Photo: YachtEyeThe moment your yacht passes Capri, the system will tell you that you can see the famous Faraglioni Rocks on your right, the Yacht Radar can detect that one of your friend’s yachts is around the corner and their yacht and location on the screen.Photo: YachtEyeArriving at the bay, the system tells you about the cool things you can do here and automatically pulls that data from the SuperYacht Times destination and hotspot database. The children want to play with the tenders & toys and browse through all the toys available on the yacht.
At the end of the day, during dinner, it gives you a summary of the day with photos uploaded by your children using the YachtEye mobile app and shows you the itinerary for the next day. Photo: YachtEyeThe next morning, the system sends a notification to your phone that the engines have started and the virtual engine room appears on the large screen TV on the aft deck, while you are having breakfast, showing what is happening in real time in 3D. The energy dashboard shows all the statistics of the systems on board.
The following is the day’s travel information with fun things to do at the final destination. As the yacht begins to sail, the Yacht Radar resurfaces and tells you which large new Feadship yacht is passing to starboard.
Since you are always looking for other yachts and you enjoy watching a yacht, grab the YachtEye app tablet and start exploring what other yachts are nearby with the smart Yacht Radar feature that supports AIS connects with the SYT iQ database.
At the end of the day, the yacht will arrive in Monaco harbor and you will work from your onboard office with YachtEye on your TV. When the yacht enters the port, the YachtEye system automatically switches to CCTV and shows you the bow of the yacht and the port of Monaco. Once she’s turned around in port and starting to dock backwards, the CCTV will switch to the rear camera so you can watch the docking process. Photo: YachtEyeWhile you are in the office, quickly log in to the HuntingEye web portal and in the Travel Inspiration section you will find an article about the coolest things to do in Portofino. After reading, you decide to adjust the itinerary and add an extra stop in Portofino the next day, which will be automatically forwarded to the captain and crew and displayed on all YachtEye screens.
After coming home from a great vacation, you want to show your business partner the journey you’ve made and you pull up HuntingEye in your office on the big screen TV that hangs above the yacht model and you first check in to the yacht’s current location, before opening the Past Trips function and showing your business partner a cool animation of the journey you have taken. On your way home from your office, already create the following itinerary on your YachtEye mobile app and share it with your family, guests and the captain.Photo: YachtEyeThe above gives you a small impression of the cool things we can do with the new ones HuntingEye. But it’s not just that, we also make life a lot easier for the crew. First of all, we’re building a destination database, with all the most popular yachting places around the world, an overview of cool hotspots and inspiration of things to do. Second, since the AI does most of the work, there is very little work for the crew to get the best possible experience for the owner and guests.
