Dog Struggles To Stay Awake In The Morning, Internet Says Relatable

Waking up in the morning and leaving the cozy bed is a chore for most of us, especially if you don’t get up that early. Even industrialist Anand Mahindra seems to recognize himself in the problem. The chairman of the Mahindra Group has now shared a funny video of a dog that perfectly sums up this morning feeling.

The clip, uploaded to Twitter, shows a Labrador on the bed as he yawns and struggles to leave the bed. The dog tries to get off the bed by stretching its front legs toward the floor, but eventually lands flat on the floor before going back to sleep. “I try to get out of bed every morning,” the caption on the video read.

Anand Mahindra agreed, writing, “Well, not EVERY morning… but on weekends, yes, that certainly looks familiar!”

The video was viewed more than 63,000 times on Twitter and resonated with many users.

“Sir, why get out of bed all weekend! Unless it’s for dinner. And this looks very familiar for weekdays!” said one user.

Another wrote: “That stretching is good for the spine.”

“Can relate to myself,” one person wrote.

Some said the battle is more during the winters.

“It hurts how true this is,” one commented.

One person wrote, “Dogs have traveled so far with humans that they understand human routines and patterns of behavior and have even begun to adopt them”.

Another user joked, “I think this twit got into bed. Lol.”

Sleep is definitely on the priority list for most of us.

One user even made a suggestion. “On weekends you have to do this in the afternoon,” was the comment.

So, are you one of those early risers or a night owl?
