Meghan King insists her son Hart has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy after ex-husband Jim Edmonds’ denial.
“Heart has cerebral palsy, Jim,” the Podcast ‘Intimate Knowledge’ presenter told her listeners Friday. “What kind of father doesn’t know that?”
King called Edmonds’ rebuttal “so sad,” adding, “It breaks my heart.”
The 38-year-old “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum claimed that the former MLB player, 52, “has not attended one specialist doctor’s appointment” for their 4-year-old.
“When I say that, I mean neurologist, ophthalmologist, audiologist – he’s never been to one IEP [Individualized Education Program] meeting,” she claimed. “None of that.”
In addition, King claimed that Edmonds “never asked to see Hart’s medical records” since he was absent from the little one’s diagnosis appointment.
“He has access to them,” she said. “He has access to the CP diagnosis. It has been given to everyone [Hart’s] schools, all its teachers. I printed them out in Hart’s file next to me.’
That’s what the blogger noticed Hart also has periventricular leukomalaciawhich Edmonds believes since he was present at that appointment when the toddler was 1.
King joked that she ‘come[s] with receipts” before speaking directly to the retired athlete.
“Remember, Jim Edmonds,” she said, “you’re king with the wrong ex-wife.”
The former reality star continued to spout “blatant lies” that Edmonds and his wife, Kortnie O’Connor, she said made on television. “Hollywood Raw” podcast Wednesday.
King claimed she does have a temporary protection order to the sports channel – which he denied – and defended talk about sex on her podcast.
The former couple was married from 2014 to 2019 and share daughter Aspen6, as well as Hart and his twin brotherHayes.
Edmonds accused King of making co-parenting “difficult” with her “f–king annoying…little jabs” at him and “continuous lies.”
“She embarrassed me, humiliated me,” he said. “It’s like, how many punches do you get in the face before you just say enough?”
In response to King’s latest comments, a representative for Edmonds tells Page Six exclusively: “As usual, the thirsty Meghan continues to make up stories to keep herself in the media.”
